The following are reports from the Serve Team that visited Lakeview in 2017
Saved to Serve
Many of the young people at Lakeview have so little yet they would give it all up to serve God. They where such an inspiration to me and are a testimony to the amazing work that Noel is doing
in the Philippines. Noel is such a humbling reminder that despite many missionaries being forgotten about there is work going on across the world that would put all of us to shame. As christians we are “saved to serve”, and by the service of these young people we could see the strength of their faith.

The theme for the Youth Weekend was “RECHARGE” Ephesians 3:16-19. Devotions on this passage of scripture took place each morning and was such an encouragement to so many. The
street evangelism was totally amazing. Uncle Noel would play his accordion as we sang – children would just gather to listen and join in.My time spent here was a true blessing to my heart. I came away feeling so strengthened in the
Lord as I saw so many fully giving their all to the Lord and seeking to serve him with all their hearts.

The Lord led…
Genesis 24: 27 ‘…. I being in the way the Lord led me.’ Each day brought something new! One of which was the Ladies meeting. As I shared with these ladies how God had changed my life I felt I needed to tell them one by one how God loved them and that they were precious. As I did the dam broke and tears freely flowed from the ladies. Such a presence of the Lord. It was clear the Lord led me to remind these sisters how precious they truly are. There was a girl called Mercy at that meeting and she shared how she was backslidden. How thrilled we were to hear of her repenting
of her sin and getting right with God. On Sunday Mercy was in church and she introduced me to her whole family, only God can change a life and a home!

Memorable Moments…
One of the most memorable moments of the trip for me was the kids street outreach. Our team, members from the church and the youth group walked around the surrounding areas until a large enough group of children gathered, we would hold a children’s meeting and then move along about 100 metres and another crowd of children gathered and another meeting would be held. Pray for
these little ones that they may come and put their trust in the Saviour. Proverbs 3 v 5-6

What an experience!
On this team there were plenty of opportunities to serve God. In the open air services our hearts were really touched as we saw so many darkened souls being reached by the gospel. The team were so blessed and challenged by this work. One of our team sang John 3v16 during outreach in the area. It was amazing. What a message for these precious people to hear. This ministry touched our hearts and challenged us to proclaim with fresh conviction, ‘I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back.’

Thanking you in Jesus Name…Dear brethren, and sisters may I take this opportunity to thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support. I would also like to thank the teams who visited Lakeview.
The young people were most grateful. At present 5 of the young people are actively praying for Gods will concerning Bible College. Our school continues week by week with approximately 110 students attending.
There are 7 outreach Sunday Schools lead by teachers who were saved as children themselves.
Again thanking you in Jesus name. Pray on, God is answering prayer. The Lord hath done great
things whereof we are glad. Forward ever, backward never.
